The embroidery crafts of the women's association of Zuleta community: an alternative for socioeconomic development.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to carry out a diagnostic study of craft activity and the embroidery typology of women in Zuleta community as an alternative for the socioeconomic development of the sector. The research modality is qualitative and quantitative, and the interview, survey and observation techniques were used, applying an exploratory and descriptive study that refer to the scope of the research. The results show that Zuleta community has tourist attractions, easy access roads to the place, gastronomy and artisan products that constitute a great strength to enhance the area; concluding that the present study seeks to improve economic income, boosting the local economy.
