The control of conventionality in Ecuador and its application according to the control of constitutionality.

Abstract

The Control of Conventionality has been built through the jurisprudence of the Inter- American Court of Human Rights, having significant variations and evolution in the last decade. This research was carried out with the objective of establishing the jurisprudential progress, the organs and authorities called upon to exercise such control and the way in which they should do so in Ecuador, in order to ensure the useful effect of the American Convention on Human Rights. The methodological strategy was established on the basis of descriptive research with a qualitative approach, using scientific research methods: historical-logical, documentary review, and analyticalsynthetic, which were useful for obtaining the results of how to exercise diffuse control of conventionality in Ecuador.
