Abstract

Pair Programming (PP) is a technique for creating high-quality computer programs in a short time. This way of working has benefited companies and has favored the teaching-learning of programming. This article presents a mapping of the literature with the articles on PP in the educational area that were found in Web of Science until October 30, 2022. The results show that the topic has a growing interest in the last five years; however, even so, it is a subject little addressed. On the other hand, the United States is the country with the highest number of investigations on PP while Latin American countries do not actively investigate this topic.
