Through the Google Colab platform, a pedagogical methodology is articulated that orchestrates adaptive content, configured by machine learning algorithms that modulate didactics based on the cognitive idiosyncrasies of the learner; in addition, the proposal includes the use of heuristic visualizations that facilitate analytical introspection on cardinal notions such as continuity, error minimization, and approximations to the limit. In short, this approach, based on a constructivist framework, stands as a disruptive innovation in mathematics teaching, with the potential to reconfigure traditional teaching paradigms.
2025-05-01T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4601Study of the use of technologies in university students using the K-means technique.2025-05-01T11:15:11-06:00Wendy Guadalupe Azuara Garcíawendy.azgar@gmail.comMartha Patricia Silva Payrópatypayro@gmail.comGuillermo De los Santos Torresguillermo.delosssantos@ujat.mx
The objective of this work was to apply data mining techniques to identify behavioral patterns related to the use of technologies in undergraduate students from data previously collected from a public university in southeastern Mexico. Prioritizing physical and mental health, as well as fostering independence and quality of life, are fundamental aspects of promoting well-being. While it is known that physical activity in older adults improves health, the rise in metabolic and heart diseases, which account for a large percentage of premature deaths in older adults, is also notable. Older adults' lack of knowledge about formal physical activity may be affecting their health, as it must be a priority if older adults are to achieve optimal and healthy aging. Social imaginaries are historical and collective meanings about the institutions that take and give sense, in this case, to the idea of an educational institution. The text is based on the concept of social imaginary established by the Castoriadis, and it indicates how education centers its conception of reason, utility, and experience into its social meanings. Through a quantitative-comparative study, 1,383 adolescents participated, 49.6% men and 50.4% women, between 11 and 19 years old, with a mean of 14.34 (SD = 1.83). The instrument used was Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking. Through MANOVA with a 2x2 factorial design, not enough evidence was found to affirm that there is an interaction effect between sex and context. Differences were identified between school contexts regarding originality. The result suggests changes in gender roles and the current challenges faced by the educational system. This syndrome is related to unbalanced occupational performance patterns, where roles as student, athlete and family member compete for time and energy, limiting essential activities. From occupational therapy, it was analyzed how these patterns influence burnout in 23 university athletes, both men and women, through a quantitative non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive-correlational study. The results indicate that the excessive combination of roles and the lack of time for rest and recreation contribute to physical and emotional exhaustion. The findings indicate that normative indicators are essential to understand and apply criminal types, underlining that understanding the social context is crucial to ensure an equitable and fair interpretation, thus protecting human rights.
2025-05-01T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4710Evaluation of the work performance of people with disabilities in the municipality of Santo Domingo during the year 2022.2025-05-01T10:54:59-06:00Yolanda Guissell Calva Vegaus.yolandacalva@uniandes.edu.ecAndrea Dayana Vallejo Lópezandreavallejo-93@hotmail.comJuan Carlos Espinoza Ordoñezdir.santodomingo@uniandes.edu.ecErick Alejandro Pacheco Calvaerickapc18@uniandes.edu.ec
The 2008 Constitution of Ecuador highlights the importance of guaranteeing the rights of persons with disabilities, especially their right to work, based on equity and equality. This study analyzed the fulfillment of these rights in the Autonomous Decentralized Municipal Government of Santo Domingo in 2022, through a mixed approach that included documentary analysis and analytical-synthetic methods. The findings showed normative advances, but also persistent challenges, such as stereotypes that limit their labor integration and the lack of adequate infrastructure to guarantee their mobility and performance. It was concluded that institutions must comply with regulations that ensure accessibility, job adaptations and evaluations that enhance their capabilities, promoting sustainable and effective labor inclusion.
2025-05-01T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4711Professional liability in negligent homicide due to malpractice: analysis of the principle of trust and objective imputation.2025-05-01T10:54:30-06:00Geovanny Leopoldo Borja Martínezua.geovannyborja@uniandes.edu.ecJennifer Karina Masaquiza Mayorgajennifermm22@uniandes.edu.ecKaterine Mariel Mise Panchikaterinemp09@uniandes.edu.ec
The analysis of the application of the principle of trust in cases of wrongful death due to medical malpractice in Ecuador shows serious inconsistencies and lack of uniformity in its interpretation and use. While medical professionals consider this principle as a guarantee for the exercise of their work, patients often perceive it as an obstacle to obtain justice and reparation. This scenario underscores the need to critically address how this principle is interpreted and applied, identifying normative gaps and proposing clear criteria for its uniform and equitable implementation. The research focuses on a comprehensive analysis, combining documentary review and qualitative analysis of normative, doctrinal and jurisprudential sources, with special emphasis on the Organic Integral Penal Code, using real cases to contextualize the findings.
2025-05-01T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4712The development of the legal professional through academic research in virtual environments.2025-05-01T10:54:29-06:00Ned Vito Quevedo Arnaizus.nedquevedo@uniandes.edu.ecNemis García Ariasus.nemisgarcia@uniandes.edu.ecDiego Fernando Montalván Arévalous.diegomontalvan@uniandes.edu.ecCristian Fernando Benavides Salazarus.cristianbenavides@uniandes.edu.ec
University education requires significant intellectual efforts and the use of technology to develop professional skills. This article examines its impact on the motivation of sentences of extraordinary action of protection issued in 2022, using a qualitative approach and inductive-deductive methods. The results show that the lack of this criterion generates motivational deficiencies, classified as inexistence, insufficiency and appearance, which affects the motivational guarantee and may violate rights. The research highlights the need to strengthen the application of the guiding criterion in judicial decisions.
2025-05-01T00:00:00-06:00Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4714Study on the approach to euthanasia in the Ecuadorian context.2025-05-01T10:54:26-06:00José Milton Jiménez Montenegrour.josejimenez@uniandes.edu.ecPilar Anabela Casco Merinopilarcm29@uniandes.edu.ecCristian Alexander Guzmán Guatocristiangg68@uniandes.edu.ecElvis Adrián Jiménez Iglesiaselvisji60@uniandes.edu.ec
In Ecuador, the debate on euthanasia, especially in cases of catastrophic diseases, has generated ethical and human controversies.
