Philosophical study based on Jacques Maritain and María Zambrano. 2025-09-01T00:14:27-06:00 Felipe Mujica Johnson felipe.mujica@uautonoma.cl
This study is part of a research project in the context of teacher training and is framed in the philosophy of education, having democracy in the educational context as its main theme. Its objective is to understand the relationship between education, democracy and diversity from the philosophical perspectives of Jacques Maritain and María Zambrano. The interpretations indicate that both Maritain and Zambrano assume a personalist vision of democracy, where the notions of equality and diversity are fundamental, which complement each other as part of the ontological, moral and political complexity of humanity. It is concluded that formal education for democracy requires reflection and dialogue on the philosophical foundations that can support it, such as those presented in this study.
2025-09-01T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4718 Inclusion, Emotions, Culture, and Diversity: Keys to the educational well-being of students in vulnerable situations. 2025-09-01T00:14:26-06:00 Enrique Roberto Peralta Mazariego mazariego27@hotmail.com
This project focused on evaluating the impact of pedagogical and artistic activities on students at the Multiple Care Center (CAM) in Cancún, using a quantitative and descriptive approach, involving 54 students. The conclusion is that it is important to balance academic and artistic development, adapting to the students' social and economic context. The activities fostered confidence and active participation, highlighting the need to continue these initiatives to generate meaningful and sustainable learning.
2025-09-01T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4719 Professional growth as a transformative axis for soft skills development in Higher Education 2025-09-01T00:14:25-06:00 Walter Manuel Mendoza Zamora walter.mendoza@uleam.edu.ec Maura de la Caridad Salabarría Roig maura1059@gmail.com
Global higher education faces the challenge of training professionals with strong soft skills in addition to technical competencies. This article analyzes the development of these skills in Auditing and Management Control students (ULEAM, Ecuador) and proposes integrating "professional growth" as a transformative curricular axis. This mixed-doctoral research reveals a significant gap between the recognized importance of soft skills and their effective promotion in the current curriculum. Systemic weaknesses are identified. The results urge a curriculum redesign focused on professional growth to explicitly and comprehensively cultivate these competencies, enhancing the holistic training, employability, and social contribution of graduates.
2025-09-01T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4721 Professor! Pedagogy, Ethics, Politics, Challenges, and Opportunities. 2025-09-01T00:14:24-06:00 Luis Rodolfo Ibarra Rivas libar@uaq.mx
This work aims to describe how teachers' and students' common sense addresses difficulties based on the following relationships: i) education and pedagogy, ii) power and politics, and iii) values and ethics. It is based on the autoethnographic method, which relied on empirical evidence from the writer's experience and on theories that explain these disciplines. With these foundations, it illustrates problems inherent to educational practices related to education, power, and values, in circumstances of a crisis of meaning. It concludes by stating that educational and pedagogical practices are artisanal, as they address difficulties differently than common sense. They do not obey recipes. They are uncertain and complex. They require wisdom.
2025-09-01T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4722 Between knowledge and silence: Voices that challenge feminization and scientific recognition in social work from doctoral programs. 2025-09-01T00:14:23-06:00 Rosa Acela Mayanix Alvarado Guevara rosa.alvarado@uas.edu.mx Beatriz Eugenia Rodríguez Pérez beatrizr@uas.edu.mx
The objective of this study was to understand the academic community's conception of the scientific recognition of social work, its doctoral programs, and the connection of these with genderrelated issues. This qualitative study involved in-depth interviews with six participants. The findings indicate that the feminization of the discipline significantly impacts its scientific recognition by reinforcing its subordinate status, reproducing mechanisms that uphold glass ceilings, and perpetuating forms of epistemic violence within the academic collective. In this regard, the term "feminized discipline" needs to be critically reconsidered through dialogic encounters that contribute to questioning its implications.
2025-09-01T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4723 Inclusive physical education strategies in Chihuahua. 2025-09-01T00:14:22-06:00 Pavel Roel Gutiérrez Sandoval pavel.gutierrez@uacj.mx
This qualitative, descriptive-interpretative research analyzes the inclusive teaching strategies used by adapted physical education (APE) teachers in public elementary schools in the state of Chihuahua. This study determines its impact on institutional effectiveness through a systematic review of research published between the years 2012 and 2022, following the guidelines of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses. The findings reveal that this type of harassment reduces workplace productivity by up to 60%, deteriorates educational quality by decreasing teacher commitment and pedagogical innovation, and degrades the organizational climate by generating distrust and professional fragmentation. It is evident that this harassment constitutes a systemic threat to educational institutional effectiveness, and it is suggested to implement preventive and early intervention strategies that promote healthy educational environments.
2025-09-01T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4751 Is creativity a relevant factor in the manifestation of school absenteeism? 2025-09-01T00:11:45-06:00 Fabiola Zacatelco Ramírez fabyzacatelco@yahoo.com.mx Thamir Danir Danulkán Durán Fonseca dandu22@hotmail.com Aurora González Granados gauris2@yahoo.com.mx
The objective was to compare creativity and its relationship with low, moderate, and high risk of school absenteeism in secondary school students. This study analyzed the factors associated with dropout among 109 students in the bachelor’s degree in nutrition, using a 33-question closed-ended School Dropout Questionnaire. The results show dissatisfaction with the school, classroom conditions, as well as personal, family, and financial problems. Poor institutional management and lengthy graduation periods were also identified as the main causes. Despite this, better job opportunities motivate students to return to the degree process. The conclusion is that degree dropout rates are multifactorial, and therefore, coordination between the university, students, and their families is required to address them.
2025-09-01T00:00:00-06:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://dilemascontemporaneoseducacionpoliticayvalores.com/index.php/dilemas/article/view/4753 Gender and anxiety levels in elementary schoolchildren in urban areas of southeastern Mexico. 2025-09-01T00:11:43-06:00 Juan Pablo Sánchez Domínguez jsanchez@pampano.unacar.mx Adrián Alejandro Vidal Huerta 153232@mail.unacar.mx Teresa del Jesús Brito Cruz tbrito@pampano.unacar.mx
Anxiety symptoms are among the most prevalent mental disorders worldwide. An argumentative and affective analysis of TERF discourse is conducted, identifying transphobic tropes, moralizing semantics, and rhetorical structures that reinforce the symbolic exclusion of trans women.
