Analysis of the conversational agent on mathematics considering data science.

The general objective of this mixed research is to analyze the use of the conversational agent on mathematics considering data science. The participants are 27 students of the Bachelor's Degree in Earth Sciences. The results indicate that the use of this web tool favors the aspects of motivation and enthusiasm. The decision tree algorithm allowed the construction of two predictive models on the use of the conversational agent considering the learning style and sex of the students. In conclusion, educators have the opportunity to incorporate conversational agents to offer new spaces for interaction and communication between the participants of the teaching-learning process from anywhere.

Personalization of Limit Concept Learning Using Neural Networks and Interactive Visualization in Google Colab.

The manuscript examines the integration of neural networks and interactive technologies as catalysts for the epistemological deepening of the concept of limit in differential calculus. Through the Google Colab platform, a pedagogical methodology is articulated that orchestrates adaptive content, configured by machine learning algorithms that modulate didactics based on the cognitive idiosyncrasies of the learner; in addition, the proposal includes the use of heuristic visualizations that facilitate analytical introspection on cardinal notions such as continuity, error minimization, and approximations to the limit. In short, this approach, based on a constructivist framework, stands as a disruptive innovation in mathematics teaching, with the potential to reconfigure traditional teaching paradigms.

Study of the use of technologies in university students using the K-means technique.

The objective of this work was to apply data mining techniques to identify behavioral patterns related to the use of technologies in undergraduate students from data previously collected from a public university in southeastern Mexico. This project was developed with a quantitative approach to guide the stages of the study, and the clustering model was analyzed with the K-means algorithm, using the Orange tool. From the results obtained, three clusters made by the algorithm stand out according to the age of the students. With this, it is concluded that there is a general pattern related to pedagogical factors in young people from 20 to 25 years old that interferes in their process of appropriation of technologies.

University student satisfaction: An assessment of library services.

The objective of this research was to identify the level of satisfaction with library services among students of a Mexican State Public University. The study had a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive and correlational design. The population was 2,034 students enrolled in Electrical Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Chemical Engineering. The sample was 324 students. The instrument to collect data reported reliability in Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of α=0.874. Satisfaction was measured through four dimensions: accessibility, service, human resources and functionality. It was determined that 48.7% of the student body is satisfied. It is concluded that there is satisfaction in the dimensions of service and human resources and areas of opportunity for improvement in accessibility and functionality.

Smartphone app addiction: An analysis by gender and academic progress in information technology students.

This study analyzed smartphone use and app addiction in 110 undergraduate students in information technology at a Mexican public university. The SABAS instrument was used and correlated with hours of smartphone use, fear of being without it, and dependence on it. Responses were compared by gender and academic progress. The level of addiction was positively correlated with hours of use, fear and dependence. Females used the smartphone more than males. Students browsed the web more in initial semesters than in advanced semesters. The need to design and implement strategies to promote balanced smartphone use is suggested.

Nomophobia in high school students.

The main objective of this research was to measure the levels of nomophobia in the high school student population in Guerrero, Mexico. A quantitative approach with a non-experimental design and a descriptive, cross-sectional scope was used. Ninety-nine students enrolled in High School No. 23 "Jacob Najera Hernández" (UAGro) participated, selected through a non-probability convenience sampling. The Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q), adapted to Spanish by González-Cabrera et al. (2017), was applied. The results showed that 55.56% (55) of the participants are at risk of nomophobia, indicating a possible tendency towards the development of serious problems related to excessive mobile phone use.

Virtual teaching and learning for humanized care of the nursing student

The objective of this study was to analyze the significance of virtual teaching and learning for humanized care in the practice of nursing students. This is a qualitative, phenomenological, descriptive, and interpretive study, centered on the philosophical theoretical framework of Martin Heidegger. Nine undergraduate nursing students from a public university in Sinaloa volunteered to participate. Data was collected through phenomenological interviews, and the results show that the phenomenological analysis revealed three categories of meaning: 1. The lack of the moment of care; 2. Care: an imaginary in virtuality; and 3. The moment of care: a dual and reciprocal ideal from virtuality.

Impact of compulsive cell phone use on the attention and academic performance of high school and college students.

A correlational study was conducted examining the relationship between smartphone addiction (compulsive use), attention span, and academic performance in a sample of 420 high school and college students in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico. Validated instruments were used to measure cell phone addiction, sustained attention, and academic grades, and the data were analyzed using a structural equation model of mediation. The results show that compulsive cell phone use is significantly associated with a shorter attention span and a lower grade point average. Educational implications are discussed, and recommendations are proposed to mitigate the impact of cell phone addiction in school settings.

Didactic Communication in Virtual Environments in Upper Secondary Education.

Comparison of the Digital Teaching Competence among the Autonomous University of Sinaloa Nursing Schools.

This article analyzes 25 articles that discuss the relationship between the use of artificial intelligence (AI) by university students and their performance, which can be academic (DA), psychological or grammatical and linguistic skills. The 25 recent articles come from the Scopus, Web of Science and Pubmed databases, analyzing their findings and conclusions. The results indicate that AIs improve students' DA, grammatical and linguistic skills and decrease emotional stress by promoting self-learning. However, it is recommended that educational institutions begin to regulate their use and train students and teachers and it is possible that, in the future, they may replace teachers.

Academic satisfaction of students in a public university. Validity of an instrument

The objective was to validate an instrument to measure academic satisfaction in students of a state public university under a competency-based model, considering five dimensions: planning, academic content, educational technology, teaching and student performance, and satisfaction. The methodology was quantitative, with a cross-sectional and correlational design. A 34-item Likert scale questionnaire was applied to 337 randomly selected students. Validation included content analysis by experts, exploratory factor analysis (KMO = 0.975, Bartlett p < 0.05) and Cronbach's alpha (0.983). The results revealed a technological gap, with a predominance of mobile devices over computers, limiting complex academic activities. Teacher performance influenced academic satisfaction, highlighting the need for pedagogical and technological training. The instrument is valid and reliable, useful for improving the quality of education and guiding policies towards technological equity and innovative strategies.

The relevance of the textbook in the educational systems of the future.

Although digital technologies have questioned its relevance, this study conducted at the Technology Transfer Center of the Universidad Regional Autónoma de los Andes, evaluated its use in teaching English. Using a mixed and descriptive design, bibliographic analysis and surveys were combined, revealing that textbooks encourage self-regulated and strategic learning, supporting cognitive processes such as analysis and critical thinking. Students and teachers highlighted their usefulness and relevance, concluding that, despite technological innovations, the textbook remains an indispensable resource for strengthening language skills.

Barriers to learning and participation: Perceptions of teachers at a public university in Sinaloa.

The purpose was to know the barriers to learning and participation and the relationship between attitudinal-social and organizational-methodological indicators in 81 public university teachers in Mazatlán, Sinaloa. A cross-sectional, descriptive, and correlation design was used with convenience sampling. A data sheet for detecting barriers to learning and participation was used to analyze the classroom context (Pizarro, 2019; Leal, s.f.). A predominance of men was found, with an average age of 45.47 and 13.61 years of teaching experience. There was no significance in the barriers overall (p>.05) but with very significant differences by indicators (p<.01). With many barriers (43.2%), there was a positive and very significant association between attitudinal-social (p<.01) and organizational-methodological indicators (p<.01).

Training Academic Tutors: A Challenge for Education Rooted in Humanism and Social Justice.

The Tutoring Program of the National Institute of Technology of Mexico (TecNM) constitutes a fundamental strategy in its New Educational Model (NME) called Humanism for Social Justice. Academic tutoring has proven effective in reducing dropout rates and promoting comprehensive development; however, the success of the program is largely based on the training and professionalization of academic tutors, who require pedagogical, methodological, and socio-emotional skills to provide effective support. This article examines the implementation of the tutoring program within the framework of the NME, highlighting the need to strengthen the training of tutors as a key challenge to consolidate an equitable and inclusive education. Strengths and challenges are analyzed, proposing strategies to increase its impact.

Training researchers in a postgraduate course in environmental sciences: challenges for its consolidation.

The solidity, coherence and consistency of the research processes in a PhD in Environmental Sciences, and their contribution to the generation of knowledge, were evaluated. Using a mixed exploratory methodology, a content analysis of 50 theses was carried out; in addition, a checklist with twelve criteria was designed and validated. It was found that the line of evaluation and sustainable management of natural resources (70%) is mostly cultivated; the theses are inscribed in environmental sciences (64%) and in natural sciences (36%); 80% show methodological coherence and 92% make a brief theoretical analysis. Some challenges are to delve deeper into complexity and inter and transdisciplinarity, achieve more theoretical-methodological coherence, produce socio-environmental science and build epistemic communities.

Engineering students' perceptions of socio-emotional competencies.

Currently, the development of socio-emotional competencies (SEC) is a requirement that must be taken into account in the training of engineering students; therefore, the objective of this study is to determine the perceptions of students from different engineering programs regarding the SEC competencies of engineers. The main results show non-significant differences across the different items and also demonstrate that, in general, there is no identification with the various SECs.

Psychopedagogical care process to address the educational needs of a higher education student.

This case study analyzed the psychopedagogical intervention for a higher education student with difficulties in mathematics, using an interdisciplinary approach involving tutors, professors, and the Department of Psychopedagogy. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and standardized tests (TERMAN, RAVEN, and BARSIT), revealing deficiencies in attention, concentration, and verbal and numerical reasoning. With an IQ of 74, the student showed poor performance on nonverbal and reasoning tests, indicating the need for specific accommodations. The implementation of personalized strategies, such as work guides, manipulatives, and individualized rubrics, improved her academic performance. The importance of identifying cognitive and psychosocial barriers and integrating holistic assessments to achieve inclusion and educational success is highlighted.

Socio-emotional education as an approach to prevent bullying in Mexican primary schools.

Social reconstruction of violence: experiences of a group of women in the south of Mérida, Yucatán.

Violence remains a serious public health problem. The objective of this work was to carry out a social reconstruction based on the experiences of a group of women living in an urban area south of Mérida, Yucatán. The chosen methodology was qualitative, phenomenological-hermeneutic, with interviews conducted with women between 23 and 35 years old, as well as key informants. The information was analyzed based on an Ecological Model. The results highlighted four dimensions: social, community, family and individual. Violence such as social inequality, street harassment, beliefs about a vulnerable fate perceived as women, conflictive relationships with consequences at different levels and a history of violence in childhood were recorded.

Community participation as a catalyst for the development of prosocial skills in university students.

A qualitative approach was used with 14 participants from various undergraduate and graduate programs, who participated in social service and volunteer projects. It is concluded that integrating these activities into the educational model would enhance their transformative effect on students and the community.

The results reported high stress in students (68.9%) and more than 65% of students are committed to their career. The objective of this study is to describe academic stress among education and mental health students at a private university in Aguascalientes, Mexico. To this end, a quantitative study was conducted with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design and descriptive scope. The sample consisted of 84 Pedagogy, Psychopedagogy, and Psychology students who completed the Academic Stress Inventory (INVEA). The analysis of the results identified low to intermediate levels of academic stress among students, regardless of gender, major, and semester completed. The main strengths observed were satisfaction with their major choice and teaching quality, and the main limitation was the perception of not having sufficient skills and abilities to tackle academic challenges.

Study, recreation and stress in psychology students in virtual mode.

Study habits, recreation, and academic stress were studied in first semester Psychology students from a private university in Mérida during the COVID 19 pandemic with a quantitative approach, exploratory design with a descriptive scope. 21 students partic ipated: 15(71.43%) women and 6 men (28.57%) between 17 and 21 years old. Three digitalized questionnaires were used in Google Forms: Study Habits, Recreational Activities in Times of Contingency, and Academic Stress. The study found that most students sho wed good study habits, but faced distractions and academic stress at a moderate high level, especially with online classes. They spent more time on their cell phones, exercised at home, and experienced greater organization and pressure.

Coping with anxiety in teachers: how to create a healthy educational environment?

Anxiety problems in teachers have directly affected their emotional health and professional performance, becoming a worrying area of attention for the educational sector, especially after the increase in cases following COVID-19. This study, based on an analysis of school tasks that generate anxiety, describes coping strategies and proposes institutional actions to promote a healthy and balanced work environment for academic staff. It is a qualitative study in which eight teachers with a previous diagnosis of anxiety participated. The results reveal the use of coping strategies focused on both the problem and the emotion, and suggest institutional interventions that strengthen socio-emotional training and communication to improve working conditions and reduce anxiety in teachers.

Impact of anxiety and depression in higher education students.

The study analyzed the prevalence of anxiety and depression symptoms in university students, exploring their relationship and differences according to gender. With an observational design and quantitative approach, 138 students of Medical Sciences were evaluated using the Hamilton Depression and Anxiety scales. The results indicated a high prevalence of moderate to severe anxiety and a lower presence of depression, with a significant correlation between the two. Women presented higher levels of anxiety. It is concluded that there is a marked relationship between anxiety and depression, with significant differences by gender, highlighting the need for specific intervention strategies.

The findings show high levels of anxiety, influenced by academic stress, family dynamics and the pandemic. Patterns were identified that suggest the need for culturally adapted interventions, combining cognitive-behavioral approaches, mindfulness, and community support. This study highlights the urgency of implementing public policies and comprehensive treatments to address anxiety in children and adolescents from a preventive and therapeutic perspective, providing evidence to improve child and adolescent mental health.

Implementing an early warning system for dropout prevention in higher education: a case study

Student dropout is a multifactorial problem affecting higher education, linked to academic, socioeconomic, and institutional factors. This study analyzes the impact of institutional support on student retention through an early warning system. The objective is to evaluate data-driven intervention strategies to reduce university dropout. An analytical methodology with document review and an integrated panel model was used to identify at-risk students. The results show that continuous monitoring and academic support reduce dropout rates. It is concluded that the implementation of technological tools and preventive strategies favors student retention, and their application is recommended in various educational contexts to improve retention and academic quality.

Strategies for coping with university dropouts.

Completion rates in higher education represent 30% of students who enroll in college. The objective of the study was to identify the different strategies that teachers from different HEIs use to prevent their students from dropping out, considering the experience of the teaching staff. A semi-structured interview was used, in which 29 teachers participated. The results showed that the main strategies are: awareness and vocation to PE, use of technological tools, characterization of students, monitoring of activities and assistance; request support for coordination, guidance and accompaniment in particular situations, communication with the student. The importance of the teacher's role in developing relevant strategies to improve dropout indicators is concluded.

Nutrition and academic performance: A study in university nutrition students.

This study analyzed the relationship between nutrition and academic performance in university students, using a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design with a non-probabilistic sample. The Healthy Eating Index (HII) was assessed with a validated instrument, and academic performance was determined from the grade point average. Data were collected through an online survey and analyzed with SPSS, using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and ANOVA to explore the relationships between variables. The final sample consisted of 89 students (70.79% female, 29.21% male). The average HII was 56.74, and the correlation with academic performance was weak, although the ANOVA showed significant differences.

Design and validation of the Scale of Influence of Significant Others on the configuration of the self (ES-OTS).

This research aimed to develop and validate an instrument that assesses the influence of Significant Others on the configuration of the self. The instrumental study was conducted with an incidental sample of 1,411 students from the State of Sonora between the ages of 17 and 43. First, the content validity was addressed by expert judges and then an exploratory factor analysis (factoring by principal axes) and confirmatory factor analysis (diagonally weighted least squares method with robust standard errors) were carried out to ensure the structural validity of the scale. The final version of the instrument consisted of 36 items grouped into eight factors. Its use is recommended to further studies on self-concept, paying attention to the Others that configure it.

Exploratory factor analysis of the happiness at work scale in employees in southeast Mexico.

Happiness at work is a key factor for employee well-being and organizational performance. This study analyzes the factor structure of a happiness at work scale among employees in southeastern Mexico, identifying its main dimensions. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was applied to a sample of 326 employees, yielding a three-factor structure: engagement, job satisfaction, and affective organizational commitment. The results suggest that these dimensions explain 69.12% of the variance in job happiness, providing valuable information for the design of organizational strategies that promote well-being at work.

Historical trend analysis of the process of sexuality education in primary school teachers in training at a pedagogical school in Cuba.

Based on selected indicators, their evolution is presented in four stages; the stages were delimited by historical-pedagogical milestones and identified as a result of the analysis of the background on sexuality education in the Cuban context, in primary school teachers in training. Sustainable leisure clusters showed significant differences in all lifestyle factors. In Mexican public universities, it is increasingly common for new professors to be hired for a certain period of time, to the detriment of their benefits and job security. The objective of this research was to determine if there is a relationship between the job satisfaction of new employees of an educational institution and the gender of the teacher, beyond the benefits offered to them. A measurement instrument was applied to all employees who meet the defined characteristics. A statistical data analysis was carried out and it shows that there is no trend towards a different perception of job satisfaction depending on the gender of the teacher.

Association between diet and ADHD symptoms in preschool-aged children.

This study analyzed the relationship between diet and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children, using a quantitative approach and a non-experimental design with a non-probabilistic sample. The Healthy Eating Index (HEI) was assessed with a validated instrument, and ADHD was calculated from the Conners' Rating Scales-Revised (CRSR). The data were collected by administering the surveys in person and analyzed with SPSS, using descriptive statistics and chi square to explore the relationships between the variables. The final sample consisted of 40 children (47.5% girls, 52.5% boys). 50% of children need changes in their diet and 42.5% have suspected ADHD. A statistically significant relationship was found between the variables (0.04).

Dietary pattern and nutritional status in young university students.

Empowering lives: training in professional sexuality skills for people with disabilities.

The objective of the study was to determine the behavior of the formation of professional competencies, for the approach to sexuality in people with physical disabilities, by the students of the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy of the Autonomous University of the State of Guerrero. A survey was applied, resulting that the family sexual culture and the personal and sociocultural barriers influence the exercise of the profession; it is considered important the integral sexual rehabilitation of people with disabilities and it is concluded that students and teachers identify their role as sexual rehabilitators recommending the opening of the department of integral sexual rehabilitation.

Design and implementation of a hospital psychopedagogy strategy to improve the well-being of cancer patients.

The objective of this study was to determine whether a Hospital Psychopedagogy intervention, focused on the development of a literary resource, favorably influences the well-being of cancer patients. To this end, a quantitative study was conducted with a pre-experimental, longitudinal, and exploratory design. The sample consisted of seven cancer patients. The PERMA-Profiler was administered for the pre- and post-tests. The treatment involved the design of a story based on the patients' personal experiences and illustrations created by them, as well as its dissemination in various educational, social, and healthcare institutions in the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico. The results reveal a favorable impact of the treatment on the well-being of the participants.

The chiaroscuros of the current educational imaginary: reason, utility and school experience.

The text analyzes three social imaginaries about education, configured in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries in Mexico. Social imaginaries are historical and collective meanings about the institutions that take and give sense, in this case, to the idea of an educational institution. The text is based on the concept of social imaginary established by the Castoriadis, and it indicates how education centers its conception of reason, utility, and experience into its social meanings. The material closes by aiming at how scientific reason, company utility, and experience account for the need to promote other ways of doing educational institutions and learning from students' experiences.

Creativity in adolescence: differences by sex and school context.

The aims of the work were to find out the differences between adolescent men and women from two school contexts - autonomous and independent - regarding the five areas of creativity: originality, fluency, elaboration, abstraction of titles and resistance to closure. Through a quantitative-comparative study, 1,383 adolescents participated, 49.6% men and 50.4% women, between 11 and 19 years old, with a mean of 14.34 (SD = 1.83). The instrument used was Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking. Through MANOVA with a 2x2 factorial design, not enough evidence was found to affirm that there is an interaction effect between sex and context. Differences were identified between school contexts regarding originality. The result suggests changes in gender roles and the current challenges faced by the educational system. The school context is considered to have a preponderant role in promoting creativity.

Green Science Preliminary Project. Social Transformation through Recycling and Education.

Promoting well-being by rescuing public spaces: an introduction to Service-Learning in Mexico.

This paper explores the Service-Learning (SL) methodology as a means to establish permanent collaborative links between the educational sector and the community. A case study of the rescue of a plaza in the city of Nuevo Laredo to be used for recreational purposes, promoting sports and environmental education is presented. The literature review was carried out using the Scopus database. It was found that 90% of the research on the increase of well-being through PES has been developed in five countries: United States, Spain, Australia, United Kingdom and Canada. It is concluded that through the rescue of public spaces it is possible to promote social development and increase the well-being of a community.

Burnout syndrome, relevant in occupational health, also affects athletes due to the high physical, emotional and psychological demands. This syndrome is related to unbalanced occupational performance patterns, where roles as student, athlete and family member compete for time and energy, limiting essential activities. From occupational therapy, it was analyzed how these patterns influence burnout in 23 university athletes, both men and women, through a quantitative non-experimental, cross-sectional and descriptive-correlational study. The results indicate that the excessive combination of roles and the lack of time for rest and recreation contribute to physical and emotional exhaustion. This study highlights the need to balance these patterns to prevent burnout in athletes.

Burnout Syndrome in teachers of Normal Schools of Sonora, Mexico.

This study was conducted with 122 teachers from Normal Schools in Sonora, using the Maslach Burnout Inventory to determine the level of work and emotional stress they experience when carrying out their activities within their institutions. The quantitative research, with a descriptive scope, adds to the analysis the type of contract, age, and participation in the Curricular Co-design of educational programs as possible factors that contribute to job burnout. The results suggest that, although the majority of teachers do not experience high levels of burnout, there is a significant proportion that presents emotional exhaustion and lack of personal fulfillment. It is suggested that prevention and intervention strategies be implemented against burnout in the educational field.

Systemic Intervention for Burnout reduction: application of Dialogic Collaborative Practices in the workplace.

Burnout syndrome, linked to chronic work-related stress, affects workers at the Office of the Attorney General for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in Nayarit. The Maslach Burnout Inventory identified emotional exhaustion as the most common dimension, negatively impacting well-being and professional performance. As an intervention strategy, we propose the implementation of dialogic collaborative practices, which, through dialogue and communication, seek to reduce burnout symptoms and improve the work environment. The findings indicate that more than 50% of the sample presents medium or high levels of emotional exhaustion, with a higher incidence among young workers. An inverse correlation was also found between age and burnout levels.

The Post-Pandemic Digitalization: A Substance-Free Addiction Among University Students.

Among university students, this has meant a redesign of their lifestyle, motivating a new population articulation, new forms of communication, and even changes in teaching-learning systems. The professional training model emphasizes the need to rethink the process of technological absorption. In these dynamic, mobile devices play a prominent role and have become essential tools for university students. According to Asensio Chico et al. (2018), young people dedicate an average of eight hours a day to using mobile devices, with checking their profile being the first activity upon waking. The analysis has allowed for the identification of the cause-and-effect relationship between smartphones and university students, the identification of technoaddictions, academic performance, and the self-management of their learning.

Post-COVID challenge: Mental Health of university students in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.

In this research, we present the general mental health indicators of new students in the 2024 school year enrolled at the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas, Reynosa-Aztlán campus. The sample consisted of 303 students, classified by gender and academic program. Two standardized instruments were applied to measure depression: the Beck Depression and Anxiety Subscales, and the Buss and Perry Aggression Questionnaire. The results show indicators that require timely intervention in cases of depression, and early identification of these factors is crucial to obtain a comprehensive view of the emotional and psychological state of students and to provide adequate support that fosters a healthy and safe academic environment.

Clinical characterization of COVID-19 in nursing students and occurrence of deaths in their relatives in a municipality in southern Mexico.

The clinical profile of COVID-19 in nursing students infected by SARS-CoV-2 and the occurrence of deaths in family members were demonstrated. It was a descriptive and cross-sectional study in which 205 young university students participated. The information was obtained through an anonymous digital questionnaire. The clinical evolution of the disease was mild or moderate and some cases developed manifestations of non-severe pneumonia, without presenting fatal clinical outcomes. The most frequent clinical manifestations were fatigue 93.33%, headache (86.67%), olfactory dysfunction (86.67%), taste dysfunction (86.67%) and fever (80.00%). In contrast, in 232 of their infected family members, 52 deaths occurred due to severe clinical evolution. The highest mortality was in people over 60 years of age who had underlying conditions with a predominance of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Knowledge about HIV and its influence on the prevention of risky sexual behaviors.

Several studies highlight the importance of having basic knowledge about HIV/AIDS to prevent its sexual transmission. This study aimed to identify the relationship between the quantity and quality of information people have about HIV and the engagement in risky sexual behaviors. A total of 2,067 people between the ages of 18 and 30 participated. The results showed no statistically significant relationship between knowledge and sexual behavior. We conclude that having knowledge about HIV is important but not sufficient to prevent risky sexual behaviors. In addition to providing information, it is recommended to promote the development of interpersonal skills with strategies that target specific populations.

Mental health in the 5.0 paradigm. Challenges and social responsibility from the main stakeholders.

Mental health is a global challenge. In Mexico, 3 out of 10 people experience mental disorders at some point in their lives, and more than 60% do not receive any treatment. The lack of early detection has led to the emergence of "lost communities," with a notable increase among women and young people. This study, employing an argumentative and inductive approach, identifies factors affecting mental health within the 5.0 paradigm, such as poor dietary and irresponsible media consumption habits, socioeconomic and service access gaps, absent parents, lack of family and teacher training, disconnection among key stakeholders, and the absence of context-specific strategies. The study concludes with proposals for future research.

Location of useful sources; 2. Selection of classes and criteria; 3. Interview design and implementation; 4. Audio recording; 5. Processing of recordings; and 6. Conformation of the dataset. The results were a database with 256 audios in patients from 24 to 84 years old. This dataset can be implemented in physiotherapy prototypes that facilitate its application to patients and doctors.

Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models require processed data that learns image patterns to avoid memorization. This research presents the creation of a dataset of 3,208 images for the classification of Urban Solid Waste (MSW) into organic and inorganic forms for CNN models. Processing was carried out using a three-phase methodology: 1. Dataset identification and selection: Kaggle and Github; 2. Dataset creation: image uniformity and color adjustments; and 3. Creation of the organic and inorganic waste dataset. The results obtained were the organic MSW datasets consisting of 1,574 images and 1,634 inorganic images. This will enable the training of Deep Learning models for binary MSW classification.

Humanistic and dignified job perception among chambermaids in hotel organizations in Southern Tamaulipas, Mexico.

The labor needs of hotel maids in the southern area of Tamaulipas are identified from a humanistic perspective, using Maslow's theory. The analysis revealed mainly negative and neutral perceptions in the five categories studied, which underlines the need to continue with the project to obtain argumentative data that enrich the understanding of the topic.

Of 180 surveys received, 128 answered that the most used social network is WhatsApp, and 106 answered that Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This question was multiple-choice. It is concluded that the use of social media among MSEs is increasing, but they are still learning about digital marketing.

The bibliometric study allows quantifying the impact in reproductions of the scientific study of a topic; in this case, related to the management and prevention of liquidity risk, from the preliminary point, data extracted from the Dimensions.ai platform was used, information is generated in number of journals, countries and publications between 2020 and 2024, as a keyword “Liquidity Risk” according to the topics related to the financial field. In the initial analysis, 17,508 records were collected, but by applying filters by years, type of articles, subject areas and total access, 2,871 records were obtained. This research highlights liquidity risk management reflects its importance in improving financial efficiency and decision making in organizations.

In the case of the municipal GAD of Pastaza, an analysis carried out between 2020 and 2022 revealed that only 23% of its income comes from its own sources, while 77% depends on transfers from the Central Government and external financing. This study, developed with a mixed approach and descriptive longitudinal design, highlighted the significant financial dependence of the GAD. The results underline the urgent need to design and implement strategies that strengthen the generation of its own income, ensuring greater autonomy and economic stability in the long term.

Relationship between delinquency and liquidity in financial cooperatives: A case study of the COAC CACPE Pastaza.

Perception of Urban Insecurity: A Geospatial Approach to criminological analysis.

The objective of the study was to analyze the perception of insecurity among university students using a geospatial approach. A cross-sectional descriptive design was used with a sample of 413 students from different majors at UANL. The results showed a high concentration of perceived insecurity in areas close to public transportation, where 64.41% of the participants reported feeling insecure, in agreement with the findings of the ENVIPE. The integration of density and fear maps allowed for a detailed analysis of the factors that influence this perception within public transportation. The results revealed that overcrowding, exceeding the capacity of the center, constitutes the main problem, violating international treaties and constitutional rights; in addition, the lack of knowledge of these rights by inmates was confirmed, aggravating the violation of fundamental guarantees established in the Constitution.

The research conducted in Santo Domingo in 2022, employed a qualitative approach and diverse methods, concluding that judges recognize the violation of the principle of equality, but act in accordance with the legality in force. The Constitutional Court supports the measure under the best interest of the minor, although it points out a procedural imbalance that could be mitigated through affirmative actions to balance the guarantees without affecting the rights of the minor.

The study analyzed the causes of the increase in the crime of extortion in San Miguel canton, Bolivar province, Ecuador, between January and May 2023. Using a qualitative-quantitative approach with a dogmatic-legal design, data were collected from 14 participants, including business owners, a prosecutor, judges and a victim. Extortion, regulated in article 185 of the COIP, was identified as a serious crime driven by organized crime, operated from penitentiary centers, generating fear and distrust in the judicial system. This deters victims from reporting cases. The study highlights the urgency of strengthening citizen security and trust in judicial institutions to combat this problem and protect people's integrity and patrimony.
