In this research, collaborative activities are proposed to foster creativity in fifth grade students of the “Luis Isch Chiriboga” Educational Unit in the canton of Santo Domingo, Ecuador. It is a mixed research, using theoretical and empirical methods that facilitated the analysis of the main concepts and organization of the teaching-learning process that takes place in the grade. Among the main results, the lack of specific strategies and activities that could promote the development of creativity was determined. Activities were proposed to foster creativity in these students, and their application allowed to demonstrate a positive impact through the increase of motivation to learn in different subjects, contributing to a better learning environment.

This article explores the strategy implemented by the institution to strengthen its educational leadership, improve the quality of learning, research and the link with the community. The scope of the research has been descriptive-propositive, with a qualitative approach. It is concluded that the articulation of functions as a strategy is an essential component for the good functioning and success of the institution. The instruments applied allowed us to appreciate that there is a development of the articulation processes justified by results in terms of the accreditation of institutional quality. The study analyzed and evaluated the effectiveness of the public policies of the Ministry of Education of Ecuador in the educational inclusion of students with disabilities in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. A qualitative-quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was used during the Costa 2023 school year. Interviews and surveys were conducted with teachers, administrative staff, and families. The results indicated a lack of knowledge about scholarships for students with disabilities and the inadequacy of the attention provided by the District Inclusion Support Units, which limits educational equity. It was suggested to improve the dissemination of available resources and strengthen teacher training to implement effective curricular adaptations, thus guaranteeing the right to education of this vulnerable group. It was proposed to develop monitoring mechanisms to continuously evaluate the effectiveness of these policies.

This study examines visual, auditory and kinesthetic (VAK) learning styles and their connection with the academic performance of sixth and seventh grade students in a public educational institution. A descriptive and correlational design with a mixed approach was adopted, validating a questionnaire on academic performance that obtained a Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of 0.946. The sample consisted of 64 randomly selected students. The results reveal that 39% have a visual learning style, 31% auditory and 30% kinesthetic. However, 50% present difficulties in curriculum planning. A significant correlation was found between learning styles and performance, emphasizing the need for personalized educational strategies and the implementation of technology to enhance academic performance.

This research highlights the importance of fostering the active participation of families in mathematics learning, an essential skill for academic and professional development. The objective is to promote effective collaboration between school, families and students, improving motivation and achievement in mathematics. A qualitative-quantitative approach was used with descriptive, exploratory and explanatory research, employing inductive-deductive and analytical-synthetic methods. The objective of the research was to describe the perspectives of the educational community of two high school on the application of the Community School Projects (CSP) in terms of collaborative and academic participation. Using a qualitative approach, the process consisted of analyzing and interpreting data and subsequently obtaining reflections on the particular phenomenon. The results indicate that the CSP have a positive influence on students, but these only remain at the campus level without transcending beyond the classroom. In view of this, educational actors such as principals, teachers, and students should get involved and work as a team in the design of projects that link theory and practice with a greater impact on the community.

The study aimed to determine the causes and effects of sexual harassment in universities, spaces that should be safe for their students, and to propose priority actions to counteract it. Using a mixed methodology, surveys were conducted and testimonies were collected from students at Ecuadorian universities. The surveys assessed the perception and consequences of harassment with testimonies about the victims' experiences. The results showed that sexual harassment is a common problem in the university environment, seriously affecting the emotional and academic well-being of victims. A worrying normalization of inappropriate behavior was observed, which made reporting difficult and contributed to an environment of fear and mistrust. The study concluded that universities do not have adequate policies to address this situation.

This study focuses on the collection of qualitative data on operant conditioning with positive reinforcement, aimed at improving the adaptation and behavior of a Dutch Belier rabbit. The efficacy of the results was evaluated one year after a four-week training period, seeking to establish stable cohabitation in the home. This study analyses the prevalence of burnout and its relationship with work-related stressors, considering manifestations in the dimensions of emotional exhaustion, depersonalisation and personal achievement. A quantitative approach was used through surveys, using the Maslach questionnaire as the main tool. The results show that emotional exhaustion has been the most common manifestation among teachers. Depersonalisation has also been a relevant factor, reflecting emotional detachment and low perception of personal achievement. It has been shown that burnout has considerably affected the well-being and quality of teaching of teachers. The need to implement actions, collaborative projects, research and programmes that reduce the impact of burnout syndrome is raised.

The relationship between quality of life and physical condition in a group of older adults who perform physical activity in Toluca, State of Mexico.

Measuring the quality of life (QoL) in older adults (OA) and the relationship with physical fitness (PF) allows us to know how physical activity (PA) influences this perception and helps to propose strategies to improve the conditions of older adults. The objective of the research is to determine the relationship that exists between the levels of QoL and QoL presented by older adults who practice PA. The sample was 153 older adults and data were obtained on QoL, QoL and sociodemographic aspects. The results show a correlation of 0.7 between QoL-QoL in physical health, and 0.8 between QoL-QoL-psychological health. The conclusions are that participants who obtained high scores in QoL also obtain scores higher than 80 points in QoL.

El parque ecológico Jelén Tenka en Santo Domingo, Ecuador, surgió como un espacio verde crucial en la reconciliación de derechos fundamentales; de ahí, que se analizó la construcción y funcionamiento del parque como un modelo de conciliación entre el derecho a un ambiente sano y el derecho a la recreación, al evaluar el impacto en la calidad de vida de la comunidad y en la conservación ambiental. Conjuntamente, se aplicaron métodos cualitativos exploratorios, analítico-sintético, inductivo-deductivo e histórico-lógico en la investigación sobre la ponderación de derechos en el parque ecológico. This study analyzes the feasibility and sustainability of opening an organic coffee shop in Tulcán, Ecuador, a city with a growing interest in sustainable practices and organic products. Social networks have become key tools for companies, facilitating the promotion and dissemination of products in the market. These commercial tactics have improved the connection between companies and their consumers. The objective of this research was to evaluate the impact of social networks on sales in the textile sector in Santo Domingo, Ecuador. A mixed study was conducted combining surveys and data tabulation, which allowed obtaining reliable and descriptive information. Using a finite sample formula, 108 SMEs in the textile trade in Santo Domingo were considered. The findings indicated that Instagram is the most used social network, followed by WhatsApp, TikTok and Facebook, evidencing its positive effect on increasing sales, customer relations and brand popularity.

The study focuses on evaluating the impact of financial statement analysis on the decision-making of the Decentralized Autonomous Municipal Government of Santiago de Quero; it also seeks to improve financial management and effectiveness in the fulfillment of obligations and institutional projects. Currently, many people have received notifications regarding the collection of debts that date back more than five or ten years, without a proper administrative procedure having been initiated. This situation violates due process and constitutional and legal regulations that protect citizens from abuses by public entities. It is essential to investigate the related administrative procedures to assess the viability of CNT's collection actions, the debts that CNT has taken to coactive judgment have accumulated over 20 years, with 314,981 processes at this stage, which include debts from clients of the defunct Pacifictel, Andinatel, and Alegro. An exhaustive analysis is required to ensure the protection of the rights of the affected citizens.

Influence of organizational culture on administrative effectiveness in educational units in Santo Domingo.

The study addressed the relationship between organizational culture and administrative management in the Mariscal Sucre, 30 de Julio, and Ramón Moncayo Benítez educational units during the period 2023-2024, to establish this interrelation and offer practical recommendations. A quantitative approach was used, applying surveys to 150 teachers from these institutions, who positively evaluated administrative management. The perception of organizational culture showed a more balanced distribution. The statistical analysis did not indicate a significant relationship between both variables with a weak correlation between organizational culture and the management dimension. It was concluded that other factors could influence administrative management, and it was recommended to investigate more about external variables and strengthen organizational culture to improve educational management.

Positive administrative silence in Ecuador has constituted a key mechanism in the relationship between citizens and the public administration; therefore, this study has focused on analyzing its implementation, by identifying legal gaps present in the regulation in the Organic Administrative Code and the General Organic Code of Processes. This study applied the Servqual model in consulting and training companies to assess the service quality perceived by customers. A mixed methodological approach was used, combining surveys and semi-structured interviews with 125 customers in the central area. The results indicated a slightly positive service quality index (0.01), with dimensions such as security and empathy exceeding expectations. Critical areas for improvement were identified in responsiveness and reliability, presenting significant negative gaps of -0.12 and -0.04, respectively. The increasing incidence of cybercrime in Ecuador has represented a significant threat to the security of citizens. Therefore, this study has focused on analyzing the challenges and opportunities in the protection of personal data and the prevention of cyberbullying against crimes such as spam and phishing, by proposing strategies to strengthen digital security.
