The didactic resources of María Montessori in sensory development

Abstract

A proposal for a Pedagogical Activities Guide designed inspired by the Montessori Method called "I am happy exploring my world" was presented, whose purpose was the integral development of the child made up of planned playful activities and divided into prepared environments such as: calm environment, home environment, sensory environment, and psychomotor environment. The results were positive when finding a favorable change in infants by stimulating their senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste), through activities carried out in different prepared environments beneficial for their sensory and integral development. The children learned to use their imagination and creativity in each activity carried out, being free and autonomous builders of their own learning.
