Incidence of acute respiratory infections in students of an educational Unit of Ambato, years 2016 and 2017.

Abstract

Respiratory infectious diseases are common grounds for consultation in children and young people in general, and particularly, if it is the consultation of the medical department of an educational institution, hence it is a health problem that if it is not controlled can lead to an epidemic in the classroom that undermines the academic development of the group. The objective of this research is to determine the epidemiological behavior of acute respiratory infections in students who were treated at the general medical consultation of an Ambato educational unit, during the 2016 and 2017 school years.
