Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to relate not only the role of the obstetrician nurse but also to the care nurse and her performance as a doula in the humanized labor; being the first person after the doctor to socialize with the pregnant woman admitted to a care center for labor and it is she who stays with the pregnant woman throughout the preparation, childbirth, postpartum until lactation, highlighting her work of high value and its importance in positive developments in the different stages of pregnancy.
