Abstract

Globalization and constant updating of technology impose enormous challenges on companies to grow, face new challenges and ensure their remaining in the market. This research was carried out with the aim of demonstrating the impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) on Small and Medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the city of Santo Domingo. The use of information and communication systems and technologies optimizes marketing, production, distribution and administrative costs, constituting a strategic organizational strength.
