Abstract

This research aimed to determine business management practices in the hosting and food service organizations in the city of Ibarra during the period February - August 2018. The sample consisted of 37 hotels and 40 restaurants that met the inclusion criteria, from a universe of 382 restaurants to which a group of investigative instruments were applied. It is concluded that good management practices result in non-tangible assets that contribute to the generation of economic returns and the recognition of customers towards companies.
