Effect of natural energizing beverages on the rugosity of Filtek z250 microhydrid resins. In vitro study.

Abstract

This study aims to publicize the existence of changes in the surface roughness of Filtek Z250 microhybrid resins, which were submerged in natural energy drinks such as guayusa, yerba mate and guarana. The results showed that exposure of resinous materials to different chromogenic substances such as drinking daily, can alter the final results of an oral restoration, hence the importance of analyzing what changes can produce aesthetically and functionally.
