The insecurity of persons deprived of liberty in Ecuador's public prisons.

Abstract

Ecuador shares a sad regional reality in its prison system, which highlights its difficulties in respecting the rights and dignity of persons deprived of liberty, this investigation addresses the prison regime and deficiencies in the different operators of the prison system that are direct negative influence to be able to comply with the normative provisions of rehabilitation and respect for human dignity.
