Abstract

The main focus of this topic is to expose the current reality of people affiliated with the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS), in terms of occupational accidents and diseases, processed in the Department of Occupational Risks of the Province of Santo Domingo Tsáchilas. The procedures for occupational accidents and diseases, without the impetus of the interested party, expire within one hundred and eighty days, preventing the affected members from enjoying the right to Economic Benefits.
