Legal and theoretical framework on the use of customs and traditions of ancestral groups in the preservation of water resources.
Abstract
This study analyses international and national legal instruments, as well as new environmental theoretical approaches to understanding that a holistic vision is needed that breaks with the parameters of domination and takes into account the other cultures and traditions, to reconstruct a new relationship of man with nature. The results made it possible to demonstrate the recognition of rights to indigenous peoples and communities to use their customs, and ancestral procedures in the preservation of water resources.
