Right to gender equality, a way still to go.
Abstract
Attempting to associate constitutional rights in support of cases of gender-based violence becomes extremely complex. There is a natural dissociation of linking constitutional law with its implementation in domestic living and family understanding, essential bases to achieve what by law corresponds to these. The purpose of the work is to try an approach to the analysis of gender violence, initially address its generalities, with special mention to Ecuador, and then, expose distinctive elements of the norms that support women's rights and identify some starting points based on to improve Ecuadorian legislation regarding the right to gender equality.
