Abstract

Migration has contributed to the globalization of infectious diseases taking into account that the proliferation of them is multifactorial where biological, social, physical and chemical factors are highlighted, so that the possibility of importing a particular infectious disease will depend on the distribution and degree of endemicity of the area of origin, among other aspects of risk. The present work pursues the objective of analyzing the treatment of the health needs of migrants in receiving countries, starting from showing their prevalence in Ecuador.
