Clinical epidemiological evaluation of the oral premalignant lesions in the population of the Montalvo in Ambato.
Abstract
Head and neck neoplasms account for 17.6% globally. Cancer of the oral cavity is one of the most common to occur in the oral cavity region, with 95% epidermoid carcinoma with a poor survival prognosis, because some develop from dangerously malignant disorders asymptomatic detection, so early detection is essential. The objective of this research is to characterize potentially malignant oral disorders through epidemiological, clinical and topographical aspects, in residents served in the health subcenter of Montalvo, Ecuador.
