Abstract

The research used the governmental institution as an analysis unit and the observation was addressed to the organization's collaborators, being a small and manageable number, applying survey sheets. It was a quantitative investigation of a descriptive-correlational type with the purpose of understanding the situation and obtaining understandable results. It was evident that the organizational climate directly affects the work performance of employees, and consequently, an official has a better performance when he perceives a better climate; this was verified by the statistical test of chi square; accepting the alternative hypothesis and rejecting the null one, which proposed an improvement plan aimed at strengthening job performance among officials.
