Revocation of mandate as a control mechanism to the authorities of popular election in Ecuador.
Abstract
In the Political Constitution of Ecuador, the revocation of the mandate is contemplated, one of the mechanisms of direct participatory democracy, which aims to establish a control of the authorities of popular election aimed at complying with its work plan attached to what the law determines; the problem is presented by the low index that is recorded of the exercise of this mechanism by the citizens; reason why, it was established as an objective to analyze the causes of this low index and expose its consequences.
