Abstract

The article presents the results of work aimed at responsibility development in older preschoolers in the course of the educational process in a preschool education institution. The authors have conducted an analysis of the problem of responsibility development from the perspective of different spheres: philosophy, pedagogy and psychology. In order to implement the process of responsibility development in children, the authors have identified three stages: formation of the concept and motivation for the conducted activity (preparatory), development of practical skills of responsible behavior (accompanying) and conscious independent usage of the accumulated experience of responsible behavior in the course of the child’s own activity (independent). Apart from that, the authors have specified the applied pedagogical technologies.
