Abstract
This work is organized in three parts. The need for a correspondence between the current global context and the need for an education that responds to these new challenges is established, a globalized society, where access to knowledge is a determining factor in social development and in conjunction with the fourth industrial revolution where All production processes are digitized based on information technologies, understanding of competencies and that must be trained at the university. The conceptualization and function of the evaluation that responds to that formation of competences, competencies that are expressed in performances where the student acts, executes an action, integrating all his knowledge and skills.
