Analysis of the quality of life of users with Down syndrome in the "El Peral ATL" inclusive disability center for comprehensive medical care.

Abstract

Down Syndrome is the most frequent autosomal aneuploidy, with the main cause of mental retardation of genetic origin; it occurs in one of every 650 to 1000 live births and generates a significant decrease in the quality and life expectancy of those affected. The objective of the study is to evaluate the level of quality of life of users with Down Syndrome in "EL PERAL ATL" Inclusive Center of Disabilities.
