Abstract

The intermediate economy with the social reality in search of answers that propitiate the optimization of the human action, becomes the econometrics a method that under conditions determines this intention. Diabetes is a chronic condition that is characterized by an excess of glucose in the blood, and if it is not treated in a timely manner, it can cause various complications, and even lead to death. This paper analyzes the results of an investigation carried out by the authors in Duran, Ecuador, in communities with risk factors that allowed establishing the incidence of socioeconomic conditions in this condition through the use of spatial econometrics techniques.
