Abstract

Artisanal ventures in Ecuador have become alternative sources of employment. Currently, the condition of vulnerability of women has changed and they have a leading role in the economy of the country. Therefore, the enterprises contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the entrepreneur and his family group, by means of equal opportunities between genders; work is made accessible to women heads of household and who do not receive fixed income. In this research, it is important to highlight the interest of women to create ventures that generate income and allow them to give a decent life to their families.
