Gender studies in the North Caucasus: contemporary state and prospects.

Abstract

The purpose of the article “Gender studies in the Northern Caucasus: contemporary state and prospects” is to identify specific features and development trends of the regional ethno-gender research related to determining their ideological and heuristic orientation. The authors conclude that an integral system of gender humanitarianism has been formed by the efforts of linguists, literary scholars, sociologists, historians and psychologists in the South of Russia.
