Situational diagnosis of Tourism, Gastronomy and Environment in the Ecuadorian ecological corridor Llanganates-Sangay between Agoyán and Shell.
Abstract
Scientific community necessities for updating the situational diagnosis in Tourism, Gastronomy and Environment led to develop the present research of UNIANDES University in Ambato, Ecuador. The aim of the project was to determine the current conditions of the mentioned aspects in the tourist areas of the Ecuadorian ecological corridor Llanganates-Sangay, as a contribution for the inhabitants, institutions and city halls. The research was qualitative and quantitative, descriptive and with an application perspective. The main results were in Tourism: stocks of attractions, facilities and modalities of touristic services; in Gastronomy: establishment lists, inventories and modalities; in Environment: orthophotographic maps, environmental sanitation and environmental impact rating.
