Abstract

Although research on the development of reflective thinking and the importance of developing competencies in law students has been investigated, learning difficulties persist. The purpose of this study was to perfect the development of the lawyer's interpretation and argumentation skills as a professional competence with interactive activities to learn to value and motivate the sentence. This qualitative-quantitative study used the pre-post experiment design with two groups of students, showing 18 subjects from the Autonomous Regional University of the Andes. The results showed that the interactive intervention improved the skills of the participants when it is necessary to motivate the sentence; therefore, their professional competence in training. In addition, interactive activities allow efficient results for the profession.
