Abstract

Before the existence of plurinationality and interculturality in several states, there is recognition of legal pluralism and Ecuador is not the exception, and within its diverse indigenous peoples, communities and nationalities is the Tsáchilas nationality. In this article, the objective was to identify the benefits, procedures and limits of the administration of indigenous justice, so that it can be correctly used in the Tsáchilas nationality, thus maintaining their identity, customs and ancestral traditions, concluding that the lack of legitimacy in its authorities has made over the last few years to ignore its jurisdiction and even opt for the failure to comply with its resolutions.
