Abstract

Developing professional skills is the goal of every academic bench. To answer this question, a field research design with an exploratory-qualitative approach was carried out and the information was collected through a mixed survey of a sample of graduate students in the 2015-2016 period of the Accounting Audit and Finance career of (UNIANDES), Santo Domingo campus, who were doing their pre-professional practices or internships in different companies in the town. It is concluded that the university network does not contribute fully to the development of pre-professional practices of students; therefore, in practice, they face gaps in knowledge that negatively affect the execution of their assigned tasks.
