Incidence of the use of mobile applications in the academic performance of university students.
Abstract
Through this article, we present the results of descriptive-correlational research to determine how the use of mobile devices has impacted the academic performance of the students of the Universidad Autónoma de Andes (UNIANDES), Santo Domingo campus. during school hours, in an environment where all students have these devices and most teachers do not know or do not yet apply strategies that allow them to regulate and take advantage of their potential as a didactic tool and restrict their use as a distracting element. Academic performance was considered as a qualitative aspect of the student and it is differentiated from the performance by giving it a quantitative character.
