Investigating the motivational and barrier factors of the participant in Continuing Education Programs of Mazandaran Medical Community and its related agents.

Abstract

Continuing education is essential for all learners in order to increase their level of scientific, technical and practical knowledge of new techniques and new direction. This was a cross-sectional study. The population was 784 people. By using the sample size formula, 338 people were selected. The research instrument included a valid check list .For data analysis the SPSS software was used. Results showed that the apprising motivation had the highest level of significance about 86.5%. Out of the five inhibiting factors only cause of inappropriate time holding of the programs had obtained the highest significance of p = 0.01. In order to enhance the efficiency of such training, it is essential to increase the organizational motivation of participants in different ways.
