Ways and methods of media manipulation: a survey among Volgograd students.

Abstract

The article focuses on the problem of ways and methods of media manipulation. The authors conducted a sociological survey which helped to reveal the degree of media influence on the consciousness of the young generation and substantiated the need to use the most effective ways which help to resist the strategies of public opinion manipulation. As a result, a strategy was developed to form students’ skills to combat manipulative techniques.
