Abstract

Today, the state of the environment in the world is of concern to both scientists and public figures. The environmental safety of most countries, including the Russian Federation, is being of high relevance of scientific research, given to the low degree of theoretical elaboration of rules governing litigation in cases related to the environment; then, the study of procedural issues relating to environmental law is extremely important, being a main problem the inconsistency of judicial practice on the fundamental issues of consideration of environmental disputes. Ignoring the distinctive features of judicial proceedings in this category of cases will inevitably lead to the appearance of procedural errors that impede the protection of rights and freedoms of citizens in the environmental sphere.
