Specificity of teaching Russian in a bilingual educational environment.

Abstract

The article highlights some problems of bilingual teaching in Russia. Our experience of many years training of foreign students in the intermediate languages at Astrakhan State Medical University is presented where Russian is both a subject of study in the primary courses and a means of teaching, and study of academic disciplines in the senior courses. The authors believe that bilingual training is aimed at the interiorization and socialization of a personality in the context of the humanistic and cultural approaches, formation of a harmonious personality who can effectively participate in intercultural communication.
