Contribution from the communicative curriculum to the development of English language communicative competence in biomedical careers in Cuba.
Abstract
Researchers state that inadequacies in the development of communicative competence in English are very common. This limits the communicative performance of health professionals. The article defends the need to improve the teaching-learning process of English, and give the potential particulars from the design of a communicative curriculum such as the one defined. Therefore, a contribution proposal organized from a communicative curriculum to the development of the English language communicative competence in biomedical careers, which promotes the integral solution of the professional problems of these students and gradually approximates them to the professional performance model, which expressed in the achievement of communicative competence in English.
