Abstract

Values as abstract concepts regulating behavior, guide future action and evaluate manifest behavior. They are decisive in people's decisions, but also difficult to form and understand, given their complexity. This work aims to reflect on the concept of value from the features that define it. Specifically, it is a reflection from the sources consulted on the essential components of values, on the one hand, its most objective, cognitive and universal dimension constituted by the notion, idea, principle or conception of value, and on the other, its more subjective, behavioral and relativistic dimension that refers to the expression, behavior, behavior and manifestation of value.
