Abstract

The text presented has a double purpose: on one hand, unveil the social representations of psychology teachers regarding teaching, and on the other hand, highlight the influence of the social environment in the construction of their thinking. For this, the document is organized in three parts. First, the theoretical reference on which the research is based is presented; second, the methodological approach with which the context and its representations are analyzed, and finally, the influence of the academic training of psychology teachers in the construction of their social representations regarding teaching is evidenced.
