Abstract

The constructivism has become a paradigm in most cases of educative plans and study programs, as well as the teaching practice in a big part of educational institutions in the world, and even is well known its practical application thanks to the manuals of teaching and learning strategies; there’s a lot to write about its eclectical origin and theories that feed it, so this article makes a brief explanation about its proposal as an epistemological paradigm and its incorporation to the educational ambit and makes deeper in one of the theories that support the importance of social interaction in the construction of human knowledge developed by Lev Vygotsky.
