Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of migration processes in the Russian Empire (XVIII – early XX centuries). The object of the study was social relations associated with the processes of population migration (external and internal) in the Russian Empire in the specified period. Particular attention is paid to the norms of Russian national law in the Russian Empire from the beginning of the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century, enshrining the principles of legal regulation of legal relations in the field of migration processes; position of the Russian legal doctrine in the field of migration law.
