The perception of the negative effects of migration as a security risk to the citizens of the Slovak Republic.

Abstract

The submitted article discussed the problem of illegal migration and its perception by young people regarding security. This article describes the study, which has an ambition to contribute to increase the efficiency of preventive effect on youth and help eliminate the negative aspects of this problem. The aim of the study was to discover the attitude of young people to the problem of illegal migration and their opinion about possible risks of illegal migration regarding criminal activity, security and also the necessity to help refugees entering the area of Slovak Republic.
