Abstract

The aim of the study is to assess the indicators describing the proportion of early entrepreneurs belonging to the third age in the total population of this age group. The assessment was carried out using mathematical models representing the density functions of the normal distribution. The results of surveys conducted in the process of Global entrepreneurship monitoring were used as initial data. The study allowed to determine countries that are characterized by high and low values of indicators. The methodological approach and the tools for assessing early entrepreneurial activity proposed in the article can be used in research on entrepreneurship in the third age.
