Abstract

This research was carried out in the sub-center of Health of the Quiroga canton Bolívar parish, in order to assess the quality of service in the Obstetrics area. It was developed through three stages: in the first one, the services offered by the area were identified; In the second stage, a user survey was applied using the SERVQUAL method, an instrument that measures quality in five dimensions: reliability, responsiveness, security, empathy and tangible elements; In the third stage, the proposal was proposed through an improvement plan for the Obstetrics area, establishing the strategies and possible solutions that the institution should promote in order to achieve a satisfaction of excellence towards the users.
