Abstract

In Ecuador, the Superintendency of Companies constitutes the institution responsible for the control and observance of the economic and financial evolution of companies. Taking into account its profits, this institution determines whether or not it deserves the benefit of reinvesting part of its profits in the acquisition of new productive fixed assets, or in goods destined for research and technology implementation that strengthens its productivity, generates productive diversification and employment increase This research aims to measure the influence of the level of imports on the production of companies that base their income through the imports they have in the country.
