Approximation to the border phenomenon and human mobility of venezuelans from the dynamics of the Rumichaca border pass in Ecuador.
Abstract
The investigation sought to address dimensions of human mobility of Venezuelans and frontiers from a non-reductionist perspective or limited solely to security, in effect, the principle of sovereignty of the States remains in full force; nevertheless, the globalizing dynamics determined by the migratory phenomenon has forced the flexibility of border spaces as places where tensions become more evident. The Rumichaca border crossing located on the northern border of Ecuador was taken as an object of study because it is an obligatory place for migrants from Colombia to Ecuador and South America.
