Role of nursing in application of vacuum therapy in infected wounds.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of nursing in the application of vacuum therapy with negative pressure, which is widely known today to improve complex wounds on infected and reduce hospitalization time. It was intended to know the technique of applying vacuum therapy and immediate nursing care in this technique, requiring that knowledge be constantly updated.
