Incidence of dental caries in the children of the Educational Unit "Andoas del Socorro" period 2015-2016

Abstract

The purpose of the investigation was to determine the incidence of caries according to the decayed, lost and sealed index in children of the Andoas del Socorro Educational Unit, assessing the level of knowledge that said children have regarding oral education and health. The causes and relevant factors of the appearance of said pathology were determined. The descriptive, inductive, exploratory and field method was used. For the execution of this investigation, in the first instance, a survey was carried out on the eating habits and the frequency of oral hygiene of each child, a medical sample was opened in a sample of 108 children from first to tenth grade.
