Analysis of the economic impact of MiPymes in Ecuador.

Abstract

The first business rounds in Ecuador began in 2010, promoted directly by the Ministry of Industries and Productivity with the support of different Decentralized Autonomous Governments of the country, in order to create business opportunities. In this regard, the Decentralized Autonomous Government of Santo Domingo has been implementing the MiPymes Incubator project since 2015, which aims to strengthen the growth of microenterprises in the canton. The research carries out an analysis of the economic impact and its contribution to the development of the city. For this purpose, a field study with a mixed approach was carried out and the results were tabulated in the SPSS program. Finally, the economic impact of the project denotes a positive outcome for the canton.
