Digital platforms for control and sales in restaurants in Quevedo canton.

Abstract

The applied research is focused on the study of technologies used in restaurants to
manage sales control and billing in the city of Quevedo. There were found restaurants as: Ají de mesa,
La Española, Zelai Bar-Restaurant, Mamá Silvia, Jade, Miel y frutas café, la Casa de Montiel, Toro
Sangría, Juan Camarón, Lokos D' Asar, among others, dedicated to the sale of food, and according to
the information collected few use digital platforms to cover the expectations of the client; knowing
that the system would allow the automation in the control and management processes of sales and
invoicing in an efficient way, which leads to improving the management of information for decision
making in business.
