The self-transformation of the university teacher from the integral dynamics of professional practice.
Abstract
The human meaning of the teaching profession and the humanization or dehumanization of teaching, linked to the hypothesis whether we are professionals in a certain branch or teachers of higher education, were the main questions that motivated this research. The fundamental objective is to determine the variables that affect the results of student performance from a view of the university teacher's self. A theoretical analysis of the points of view and results of investigations on the problem under study in different countries and in Ecuador was carried out, demonstrating the need for changes in the university teacher to give the true meaning and meaning to professional practice from the process teacher training from a more individualized projection.
